The Thing About Names....

Yeah, so my creative mind has been going.

Crazy, right?

More like scary.

But back to the point, I've been thinking about re-naming some of my dolls. Of course, this is super cool in some ways, but in other ways it's lame because then everyone is confused and you have to change all of your "marketing merchandise"... as in if I re-named Saige I would also have to re-name this blog.

Buts I'm going with it, so deal with ti. No, I meant with it. Deal with it.

 Marie-Grace w/ hazel eyes and #35's wig.

Let me take a moment to freak out over this ah-mazing custom Marie-Grace (I don't know who did this but wow)...

Speaking of Marie Grace, I'm re-naming her.... *drumroll*

Dun dun-nu

*Death Star blows up*

Alberta Estelle Lininger

Woah, yeah, what a mouthful. But Alberta it is.

And now I need to go to bed.

Who am I?

So yeah, all of my readers know a bit about me:

*I love dolls. (what's that you said?)
*I'm the bookish type, and I love LotR.
*Photography is a hobby of mine.

But who is Dally really?

*I love the Lord with all of my heart.
*Writing stories is my passion, and telling them is a gift.
*I want to be a scientist.
*I'm left handed, and that's a lot different than being right handed.
*I'm kind of on both side of the spectrum: Science and math, reading and art.
*I play oboe, and making music is something amazing.
*I really wish that I was a hipster, but I tend to spend my money on other things than clothes.
*I'd rather be cold than warm.
*I don't have many friends... people probably just think I'm a big joke.
*Sarcasm is my thing.
*CAPTAIN AMERICA! *faints*
*Addy. my sister at Down By the Willows is super cool and we do a lot of stuff together.

Don't mind if I do.

Sweater Weather

Okay, while I hate the song and the sentence is cliche, I do like sweaters and fall weather is awesome. So I took Elizabeth outside (in a sweater, duh) and took some pictures!

Have a great day!

A Camera!

Well, yes, it's true. I finally stopped complaining about my digital camera and saved up to buy a DSLR. I got it the other day and haven't really stopped messing with it since! Here are some photos I took of Hailee:

Wow, these photos take really long to load. So that's all for now. XD

Great Sale at AG!

If you go to the Sale Page at AG, I think you'll be surprised! They have Saige, MG and Cecile, and old JLY items at super awesome prices! The Winter Chalet is only $60! Check it out, especially if you missed Saige and her collection.

(Looking at this nightgown reminded me of how sad I am that Marie Grace and Cecile, Ruthie and Ivy are retired). :(

Things Are Flying Around + Samantha!

By things flying around I mean time. Wowza!

Can you believe it's almost been a month since I posted last? Crazy. I've been playing volleyball, oboe, saving up for a DSLR (squeee!) and starting school tomorrow!

Don't worry, I'm still in love with blogging!

So, Beforever showed up. Right? For the most part I'm kind of "meh" about the whole thing. It seems like they're just gearing the line towards younger girls. Kit's outfits are fluffy and pink, so are Julie's.

BUT AMERICAN GIRL DID SOMETHING RIGHT! *gasp*

And that's Samantha.

I can't tell you how happy I am that they brought Samantha back! She has always been my favorite doll - always. I was first introduced to AG in 2008 when I read Meet Samantha (my mom, who was a teacher, had the book in her classroom) and started saving up to buy Samantha. I ended up using the money on something else instead, but I still love her! Sure, the collection is a bit pink, but can we talk about her Holiday Set?

Wow, yes! I love it!

I really do like the whole clothing line for girls that came with Beforever, too! I would wear almost all of the outfits (except for Julie and Rebecca's) and the styles are really in tune with today's girls! So yeah, I'm not overjoyed, but I don't hate it, either (thanks, Samantha)!

XOXOXOXO,
